Type, handwriting, and lettering
An excellent guide on type design, writing and lettering, by the Icelanding type designer Gunnlaugur SE Briem, the designer behind the recently decommissioned Times Millennium for the London Times. Highly recommended.

Luc Devroye’s typography resources
A professor of Computer Science at McGill University, Montréal, Luc is also an enthusiast of typography. He maintains an extremely comprehensive resource on everything related to typography and type design, including multilingual typography, font technology, type history, and more.

Calligraphy Center
An American calligraphy site, featuring works of the extremely skilled calligrapher John Stevens, who has been successfully incorporating his exquisite hand lettering and calligraphy in his graphic design work. His brush-drawn Roman capitals are simply beautiful.

Public lettering in London
